Sonal Modi donates all her proceeds received from lectures and translations to charitable institutions. So far, she has donated over Rs19 lakh towards charity. She has translated the work of celebrated writers like Sudha Murthy and Rashmi Bansal and was awarded the “Sakhi” Stree Shakti Award. She has been contributing to liberating women folk from bondage and inferior status through her various activities including writing and teaching. She is also actively involved in the development of children.
