Graphic designer and educator, Amit Kharsani is associated with NID since 1978. Currently, he is working as a faculty, the United World Institute of Design. He is a visiting faculty at NIFT, SID, IPSA Rajkot, IICD Jaipur, MRID Vadodara, and BID Banasthali. He had started calligraphy under renowned calligrapher Late Shri R K Joshi from the Aksharyoga International Calligraphy workshop in 1986. Conducted workshops with Karina Meister from the Netherlands and Jan Baker, the USA in Triveni-New Delhi, Upna Utsav-New Delhi, Aakara-IGNCA, New Delhi, and demonstrations under R K Joshi. He also organised many workshops individually in various parts of the country and overseas, and claim the title of international calligrapher from Aakara workshop.
